5 Things to bring on every safari
Africa is a dream destination to many travelers and it is easy to see why. The continent is home to diverse wildlife, magical scenery and some of the world’s most preserved cultures among other things. In today’s post I am going to look at 5 things to bring on every Africa safari.
Camera
You need a camera to capture moments while on your Africa Safari. Depending on your level and skills you may opt to go for a simple digital camera or a full DSLR if you are proffessional photographer. Whatever your choice be sure to get a camera with a good optical zoom lens for better wildlife shots.

Binoculars
A pair of binocular is very essential on any Africa Safari. This will help you spot some animals which may appear to be far. Further than your naked eyes can see. a 50x binocular is ideal. Make sure you choose a light one that you will be comfortable carrying around.

SunGlasses
Do not forget to carry a pair of poralised sunglasses to protect your eyes from the scorchy sun rays that you may be exposed to while on safari. Also note some tracks can really get dusty and the glasses will help protect your eyes.

Chargers
In most cases your safari van will have charging ports. At your camp or lodges too you will find charging ports but you will need to carry your charger along with you to enjoy these facilities. You dont want your phone or camera to go off on day one and stay off for the rest of the safari.
Sun screen and a Hat
These are essentials as they will protect your skin from the direct sun rays while on safari.
Extra Battery Pack
While you may have the chargers sometimes the charging ports may fail you or you may run out of power in your gadget when you least expect. An extra power pack can save your day in such situations.
